The Company’s research focuses on the validation in humans of bioactivity of natural substances for
which proof of concept has been obtained in animal models.

The Company has established research partnerships with

	Ghent University (Ghent, Belgium);
	INRA (Laboratory of metabolic diseases, Clermont-Ferrand, France);
	CSIC-Madrid (Laboratory of Fermentation, Madrid, Spain).

;Research topics include the development of innovative and proprietary bioactives addressing the
metabolic syndrome (eg hypertension, diabetes type II) and ageing related health impairments (eg
chronic inflammation).

The Company received an EU ERA-SME grant for its joitn research project with INRA for the production and clinical validation of BONOLIVE.

The Company is working with several CROs for the design and execution of clinical studies with its lead products.
